The simple agreement between you and Calm Parent. We've kept it plain.

Supportive guidance, not professional advice.
Calm Parent gives parents and caregivers gentle, evidence-informed suggestions for hard parenting moments. It is a self-help tool for general support.
It is not medical, psychological, legal, or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. If you are worried about your child's or your own safety or wellbeing, contact a professional or, in Australia, call Lifeline 13 11 14 or Kids Helpline 1800 55 1800. In an emergency, call 000.

What's free and what's paid.
The free plan includes a set number of guidance moments per day (currently 20), the calm dial, the breathing pause, and crisis support contacts. We may adjust free limits over time.
Premium is an optional paid subscription that adds unlimited daily guidance, saved per-child history, and age-specific scripts. It is offered monthly (A$6.99/month) or annually (A$49.99/year). Prices are in Australian dollars and may change; we'll give notice of changes before they affect an existing subscription.
Try Premium before you pay.
Recurring until you cancel.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) until you cancel. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.
You can cancel anytime from your account. When you cancel, you keep Premium access until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.
Fair, and in line with your legal rights.
The 3-day free trial is there so you can decide before paying, so we generally don't offer refunds for change of mind on monthly plans — instead, cancel anytime and keep access until your paid period ends.
We will provide a refund where:

Calm Parent is provided on an "as is" basis. While we work hard to make it helpful and reliable, we can't guarantee that the guidance will be suitable for every child or situation, or that the service will always be available or error-free. You remain responsible for the decisions you make as a parent or caregiver.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or guarantees that cannot legally be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
We'll keep this current.
